Well there have been several developments this week.
Apparently Sierra and SnowBlind discovered a drow elf who was tied up. They debated making a meal of her for a while but finally hit on a deal instead. It seems another story will be forthcoming very soon.
Today i will be meeting with Wren also. There are some things to discuss regarding the clerical spells and how effective they are (HUDs). With our divine emissary being away we will be working this out for ourselves i think, though i hope for Alphonsus safe return soon.
And one last thing, it seems a couple old members of Triskele may be returning but for now i am not at liberty to say whom.

Trouble in Triskele
Much has happened recently and it is hard to know where to start. The preparations for the dragon quests have been going well. I spoke to the leader of the elves yesterday and she has agreed to help with some quests. It is likely i only need to ask the other leaders to have full cooperation with these things.
It is too bad the dragon Elders are not around for they would benefit in working with me on these quests i believe. As it is i seem to be the only one doing this. Sierra has returned though and i know i can count on his help. The only thing we really need to finish for the earth quest are the many items which need to be made. A human skilled in the creation of items, named Johnny has agreed to help. I even had an offer of help from one of the elves. I think what the elf was suggesting would be good for the dark dragons spirit quest.
Unfortunately i have not seen the dark dragons about for many weeks. Neither Elder of the Sun or Elder of the Moon ever tries to contact me and at present my contacts list seems to mostly be stuck in "waiting". Thus i have no clear way of knowing when they are about.
I begin to believe that other dragons might be better at leadership in Triskele than the current dark Elders whom i never see here. Unfortunately for the balance, there is only one other dark dragon and i see her rarely.
Aside from my visit to the elves of Triskele, i had a dream that a tiny hatchling was born in the land of the Sylvan elves. What the significance of this dream is i have no way of knowing.
Then when i awoke i found trouble in my land. One of the Drow elves had chosen to set fires in the realm. Apparently he targeted one house and i was at the castle when a woman was brought in. The drow had disfigured her horribly. I thank Thuban for the power i was able to channel to help her heal.
Anyway i have heard that Alphonsus is away for a while. This is unfortunate only in the timing since Sierra is here for the week and wishes to work on the powers of the Clerics. I will speak with Wren about it but i believe our Divine Emissary is the one with the better understanding of these things and can help him the most.
I have submitted the charter for the Adventurer's Guild to SnowBlind and Johnny and await their suggestions. It is strange that once we started working on this that things began to happen in the realm. There have been many ideas for events already just from the creation of this Guild and there is much interest. We have yet to choose where the headquarters are. It has been suggested that the Gargoyle is a good location for meetings but i still think, though this would be a good thing for the tavern, that Johnny's hall is much more spacious and available. We shall see what SnowBlind suggests.

Allanth's Diamond
Early in the worlds history after the first dragons had retired to Thuban and their children roamed the world, one dragon called Allanth tunnelled into the earth and found a great stone. Washing it in the sea he discovered that he held a blue crystal thats depths sparkled like the sun. It sang to him of those who created the world, a sound he never wanted to loose the music of. This stone he brought before his brothers and sisters to share its beauty and mystery.
The dragons kept it mounted on the top of the highest mountain so that the sun could shine through it and all could appreciate its beauty. Its existance became legend among the dragons.
But as the centuries passed the earth changed. Even as dragons age, the mountains are worn away. One day there was an earthquake and the stone fell many thousands of feet, shattering upon the rocks below.
Mournfully the closest dragons flew down to retrieve the pieces but even as they did the earth moved again and a crevase opened in the earth as more rock plunged down. Those closest to the shards were killed, their crushed bodies falling into the crevase with the pieces of the shattered crystal.
Those who saw what happened chose to leave their dead brethern undisturbed even though it meant the loss of the crystal. So there lay the shards for uncounted centuries until another race discovered them among the ancient dragon bones.
The dwarves knew nothing of the mysterious powers of the shards, only coveting them for their beauty. They worked the crystals, making each into shapes that caught and held the light. These they mounted in various ways, for jewelry and the largest pieces for display.
Other races, more sensitive to magic, discovered the dwarves work and the pieces were traded away for other things. Visitors in Triskele?
Ahh i have noticed that Rosaria has reappeared. It is interesting to see things through her eyes again. Much more peaceful too *laughs* No duties, no calls to heal anyone out of the blue, now that Everwind has fallen.
I can just explore and do what i want for the most part. But dont worry i wont be her all the time. I rarely appear as her anyway.. maybe once a week. Though eventually she may have a role in Pern.
Recently she has been demanding Land Marks from me.. hehehehe virtual split personality? No i dont think i could be that way though my evil side wishes it could appear every once in a while. I am half evil green dragon. But i suppress it for the most part. After all it would not fit with my duties now would it? Hmm... Maybe it would.. i am neutral after all. *wicked grin*
Anyway today was interesting. There were some visitors to the castle. It is still up to the King and Queen to say, but some of the council worked very quickly to include them in a race and guild group. I do hope they will stay. I think they have a lot to contribute.

Doubts
There is something that happened that still disturbs me. One of our dragons is working on the meters but I really do not understand much about the process. Knowing that I would be the only one to represent the dragons at a council meeting I asked this dragon for information about the progress of the meters. He told me, but I misunderstood.
So when I was asked about it in the council meeting I said the wrong thing. I was immediately challenged and realized I made a mistake. I have sent messages to all the council and apologized but now I wonder if I have not lost some respect there.
It is very troubling to me since no one really replied to the message I sent out, and I take the honor of being able to attend the meetings very seriously. I do try to do my best but now wonder if that is good enough.
I think my reporting on the progress of the Clerics several weeks earlier was not very good either. I seem to misunderstand what is asked of me quite often. I think perhaps I should not say anything in these meetings anymore.
I know I should not doubt myself but I just wonder if I am capable of the role I have been given sometimes. Everyone makes mistakes but I seem to make them much more often than anyone else.

Done & To Do
Sometimes i dont know what to say here. Life flows so fast and its gone before i even have a chance to note things down. At least this last week some things were accomplished.
1) I finished writing the Charter and Oath for the Dragons of the Stars.
2) I wrote the list of 5 quests that the dragons will be doing to earn their first level. This includes a description of the elements that are involved and how they relate to dragons, instructions for the dragon leaders, and instructions for the dragon leader to give to the quest applicant.
3) I wrote a little piece of lore for the dragons first quest, the earth quest, both versions of it. There is a version just for anyone to read and then there is the version that tells why the item is so important to dragons. That piece of knowlege should stay within the dragon clan.
4) The Leaders of Faith in the Clerics Guild had a meeting last night where we discussed the old spell list, and agreed to modify, cut or keep the spells. So now we have a basic spell list from which to work. I suggested that each religion have a few special spells also and it was agreed upon.
5) I found a couple dragons to instruct the flight and dragon combat classes. Unfortunately neither are members of Triskele so i am a bit uncertain about whether i can actually have them instruct or not.
But i cannot rest now. There are more things to do.
1) Contact as many of the out of touch or old members of the dragons group as i can and find out their alignment and guild. This will include informing them of the role-play and combat classes.
2) Compiling a list of dragon members from this list, ordered by alignment to give to each dragon leader so that they know who they are responsible for.
3) I will also need to speak to some council members about these quests, to set them up as an ongoing thing for the dragons and also for scripting a couple items, unless our regent or another scripter can do it for us.
4) Solidifying my ideas for quests for the Dragons of Thuban, writing out role-play scenerios for the various spells since Thuban is not like the other religions and you simply cannot pray to a god for the power. There is no rush on this though since i have a single acolyte and i haven't seen him since he joined several weeks ago.
5) Enroll the 2 dragons mentioned in #5 above into the Triskele group and the Triskele dragon group, or at least the intersim group. Unfortunately it seems everyone balks at the role-play classes and other requirments. I guess i will wait a bit and see how things work out. In the meanwhile i still have my eyes open for more instructors and mentors.
Anyway thats just a peek at my to do list.. though probably the most important. We also have a meeting tonight but i wonder if seconds are allowed to come this time?
