The other week the warriors quest took place. It went fairly well though as i feared it ran much later than anticipated. Part of it was the roleplay leading up to the quest. Things were not worked out well. How my character found out where Sierra took the spear was one thing that had not been worked out. I assumed i would have been there when it was taken and i was not. I assumed there would have been a witness and there was not. The only in character reason i knew it was Sierra at all was that i could say i caught his scent. The next thing is that no matter how hard we work and plan, someone is going to do something unexpected. *laughs* I think i have heard that regarding role-playing before. I suppose a quiet ooc whisper might have done the trick without anyone having to go OOC in frustration.
I dont think much of the quest site was used for this.. but i guess it was enough.. The warriors got through it quickly with a minimum of booby traps being activated.. A good thing in that they could get through the quest fast after the delay, a bad thing in that no one really had time to appreciate all the hard work that had been done. Its too bad we had to rush is all. Still the quest site is for many quests, not just this one. I am sure that as we play we can refine things so they go better.
I must thank the people that assisted. Sierra and Ureria, for creating this wonderful site. Angela, Cora and Pak for assisting in the role-play. I am still reading logs and sorting out what sort of promotions the dragons will be getting. I also need to figure out if there is a reward i can give the builders. I know i want to get a language translator.. that will go to the dragon knights or perhaps those who finish all their quests, but what else can i give to show my gratitude. Hmm.. perhaps a painting.
